My initial reaction to finchy’s work was not positive. I thought that she is a prose writer and maybe poetry is not her thing. But I have read her almost every poem on this board. I think this is one of her better work.
That, my dear, is one kick ass picture - reminds me of a typical moment at my house, shirtless muss-haired children all smiling like they've got the world by the shirt tails.
Wonderful isn't it? The simple unfettered moments - the pictures of them as they really are (not dressed and posed in front of a christmas tree lol) Yup - this is a very good picture, love it!
