i think i missed the day again
roll out of bed / crawl toward the edge of the bed

stayed in - last nite we stayed in
stayed sober / slept / you see i'm on
the wrong side of the clock now
complete rest requires 10 hours of
12 hours / do you ever get out of bed?


this is no hang over / life over
one morning i'm gonna get up &
see the sun shining through the back
window one of these days i'm gonna
wake up & the sun gonna be shining
mid day / high noon / glorious sun / beat
down on me.

but for now i must be content to watch
pink light on the mountains across the valley
oh those south facing slopes
